Registration Now Open To All Asian Countries For The U15 & U17 Boxing Championship In Amman

Published on: March 26, 2025

The Board of Directors has officially voted to open registration for the upcoming U15 and U17 Asian Boxing Championship to all Asian countries, expanding participation beyond Asian Boxing member federations. The championship is set to take place next month in Amman, Jordan, and will now welcome a broader field of young talent from across the continent.

This decision aims to foster greater competition and provide more young boxers with the opportunity to compete at an elite level, regardless of their federation’s membership status. By allowing wider participation, the championship is expected to showcase emerging talent, elevate the level of competition, and further promote the sport’s growth across Asia.

“The spirit of boxing is about unity, development, and fair competition. Opening the tournament to all Asian nations reflects our commitment to providing young athletes with the best possible platform to test their skills and gain experience,” said Pichai Chunhavajira, President, Asian Boxing.

With preparations in full swing, organizers anticipate an exciting tournament featuring the continent’s most promising young boxers. Teams and athletes interested in participating are encouraged to complete their registration promptly.
