U15 Afternoon Semifinals Showcase Future Champions at Asian Boxing Championships

The afternoon session of the U15 semifinals at the Asian Boxing Championships delivered exciting action at the Sports Palace in Amman, as several young athletes punched their tickets to the finals.

This session, featuring a selection of boys’ and girls’ weight categories, saw boxers from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, Ukraine, and other nations showcase their skills, determination, and hunger for gold. Victories in today’s afternoon bouts secured their places in the finals, which will be held on April 29 at 2:00 PM local time.

Among the highlights, Damir Janshilikov (KAZ) and Temurbek Bakhtiyorov (UZB) advanced from the lightest boys’ division, while Sanskar Vinod Atram (IND) and Sarmat Shokarimov (UZB) delivered dominant wins at 35kg. Birzhan Zhakyp (KAZ), Mukhriddin Khamidjonov (UZB), Kuanysh Khalimbet (KAZ), Atabek Hojyyev (TKM), Zarifjon Nimatov (UZB), and Jayden Price (BRN) also secured spots in the boys’ finals across various categories.

The girls’ semifinals were equally intense, with standout performances from Komal Komal (IND), Anelya Ordabek (KAZ), Khushi Ahlawat (IND), Sabinakhon Kamizdjonova (UZB), Tamanna Tamanna (IND), Tomiris Satybaldy (KAZ), Milky Meinam (IND), Raykhona Alimkhanova (UZB), Viktoriia Amelchenko (UKR), Medina Abylkasym (KAZ), Parvina Shakarova (UZB), and Zlata Vovk (UKR).

The evening session is still underway, with more semifinal bouts taking place across the remaining weight divisions. Once completed, the full lineup for the U15 finals will be confirmed.

The U15 finals are scheduled for April 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time, promising an exciting conclusion to an outstanding championship for Asia’s next generation of boxing stars.
