Nepal Announces Squad for Asian Boxing U19 & U22 Championships in Bangkok

Nepal has confirmed its participation at the upcoming Asian Boxing U19 & U22 Championships, set to take place from July 30 to August 12 in Bangkok, Thailand. The team will compete under the leadership of Head Coach Deepak Maharjan, a celebrated figure in Nepali boxing and a bronze medalist at the 2010 Asian Games.
The squad features a mix of promising young talent in both the U19 and U22 age categories, with boxers representing the nation across multiple weight divisions.

The Nepal Boxing Association has expressed confidence in the squad’s preparation, citing rigorous training and mental conditioning under Coach Maharjan’s guidance.
The Asian Boxing U19 & U22 Championships, organized by Asian Boxing in collaboration with World Boxing and the Thailand Boxing Association, will feature more than 25 nations and nearly 400 athletes across the continent — making it one of the most competitive platforms for emerging boxing talent.
Nepal’s young warriors are ready to step into the ring and proudly represent the Himalayan nation on Asia’s biggest amateur boxing stage.
