182 Boxers Set to Compete at the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain

The boxing competition at the 3rd Asian Youth Games is set to begin in Bahrain, featuring an impressive lineup of 182 young athletes from 31 National Olympic Committees (NOCs). The event marks another milestone for World Boxing and Asian Boxing, showcasing the next generation of talent from across the continent.

Among the participants are 118 male and 64 female boxers, who will compete across multiple weight categories, reflecting the growing strength and diversity of youth boxing in Asia. Supporting the competition are 19 Referees and Judges, ensuring the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and professionalism throughout the tournament.

The Technical Meeting and Official Draw will take place today (October 22) from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The K Hotel, setting the stage for an exciting week of action. The first day of competition will begin tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, where preliminary bouts will open the tournament.
