Asian Boxing Appoints Sport Integrity Officer to Strengthen Transparency and Fair Play

In a landmark decision underlining its commitment to integrity and transparency, the Board of Directors of Asian Boxing, led by President H.E. Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, has appointed Pol. Lt. Gen. Chaiwat Chotima as the organization’s first Sport Integrity Officer.

The announcement was made during the Board Meeting held on October 1, 2025, where President Chunhavajira emphasized the vital importance of safeguarding the values of fairness and ethical conduct across the sport.

“After careful consideration, I have appointed Pol. Lt. Gen. Chaiwat Chotima as the Sport Integrity Officer for Asian Boxing. Mr. Chaiwat brings with him a wealth of experience, dedication, and strong values that align with our mission to uphold the highest ethical standards in sport. In this role, he will be responsible for ensuring that our activities and competitions remain free of misconduct, safeguarding fairness, and promoting trust within our boxing families. I am confident that under his guidance, we will continue to build a culture of integrity that sets an example not only for Asia but also for the global boxing community,” said President Chunhavajira.

The newly created position of Sport Integrity Officer will serve as a direct and independent channel for addressing concerns related to misconduct, lack of fairness, or integrity breaches within the sport. Pol. Lt. Gen. Chaiwat Chotima will have direct access to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and immediate accountability.
