Asian Boxing Board of Directors Approves 2026 Competition Calendar

The Board of Directors of Asian Boxing has officially approved the 2026 Asian Boxing Competitions Calendar, setting the stage for another year of top-level continental championships that will showcase the strength and talent of athletes across Asia.

The 2026 calendar will feature three major championships:

  • Asian Boxing Championships (Elite Men & Women) – January 29 to February 9, 2026
  • Asian Boxing Championships (U17 & U15 Men & Women) – April 10 to 24, 2026
  • Asian Boxing Championships (U23 & U19 Men & Women) – July 3 to 16, 2026

They also presented the other upcoming events under Asian Boxing:

  • 2026 Asian Games (Elite Men & Women) – Nagoya, Japan – Sept 19 – Oct 4, 2025
  • 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (Elite Men & Women) – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – December 2026,

Venues and host cities will be announced in due course with the bidding opening shortly.

Asian Boxing President Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira emphasized that the approved calendar reflects the Confederation’s commitment to offering athletes across all age groups competitive opportunities on the international stage.

“These championships are not just about medals; they are about giving our boxers the best environment to grow, compete, and prepare for future Olympic success,” said President Chunhavajira.

The competitions will continue to follow the highest standards of organization, fairness, and transparency under the guidance of the Confederation’s leadership and commissions.
