World Boxing Announces the 2026 Competition Calendar with Three Major Events in Asia

World Boxing has officially confirmed the competition calendar for the 2026 season, outlining five major international events that will shape the competitive pathway for boxers across all continents. The new schedule reflects the growing global reach of the sport and reinforces the continued rise of Asia as a leading hub for world class boxing.
The 2026 U19 Futures Cup will open the season in March in Thailand. This event marks the first of three World Boxing competitions to be held in Asia next year, highlighting the region’s increasing influence and strong commitment to youth development.
The series will continue in April with World Boxing Cup Number One in Brazil, followed by World Boxing Cup Number Two in June in China. China’s hosting of a World Boxing Cup event demonstrates the depth of talent and organizational strength within the continent.
The 2026 U19 World Boxing Championships are scheduled for July and August with the host city to be confirmed. This flagship youth event remains one of the most important stages for identifying the next generation of world champions.
The season will conclude in November in Uzbekistan with the 2026 World Boxing Cup Finals. As one of the top performing nations in global boxing, Uzbekistan will again provide a world class stage to close the year.
With Thailand, China, and Uzbekistan all set to host events, Asia will play a central role in the 2026 calendar. The region continues to deliver strong venues, competitive athletes, and exceptional organizational standards, contributing significantly to the global growth of World Boxing.
