Ninety five boxers from nine Southeast Asian countries set for SEA Games Boxing in Bangkok

Ninety five boxers from nine nations will compete in the boxing competition at the SEA Games in Bangkok, which begins on December 9. The participating countries are Thailand, Timor Leste, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines.
The competition will feature seventeen events, including nine men’s events and eight women’s events, in accordance with the official weight categories confirmed for the Games.
The men’s categories will include 48kg, 51kg, 57kg, 63.5kg, 66kg, 71kg, 75kg, 80kg, and 92kg.
The women’s categories will include 48kg, 50kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, and 75kg.
Each National Olympic Committee may enter a maximum of thirteen athletes, with one athlete permitted per weight category. All athletes must be between nineteen and forty years of age, based on the eligibility range set by the SEA Games organizers.
The SEA Games boxing tournament is expected to deliver a strong showcase of Southeast Asia’s top talent, with regional rivalries and emerging champions taking center stage as the competition opens on December 9.
