Mongolia to Host Pre Asian Boxing Championship Elite Boxing Training Camp in March

The Mongolian Boxing Federation will host a Pre Asian Boxing Championship elite boxing training camp in Ulaanbaatar from March 15 to March 27, 2026, as part of preparations ahead of the Asian Boxing Elite Boxing Championship later that month.

The international training camp will be held at the Altan Shonkhor Camp, located approximately 30 kilometres from Ulaanbaatar, and will bring together elite boxers from across Asia for high-level preparation and sparring in the lead-up to continental competition.

Teams are scheduled to arrive in Mongolia on March 15, with departures set for March 28. Chinggis Khaan International Airport will serve as the official arrival and departure point for all delegations. Accommodation, training, and meals will be provided on site at the Altan Shonkhor Camp.

The camp is open to elite men and women boxers across a full range of weight categories. Men’s divisions include 47 to 50 kilograms, 55 kilograms, 60 kilograms, 65 kilograms, 70 kilograms, 75 kilograms, 80 kilograms, 85 kilograms, 90 kilograms, and over 90 kilograms. Women’s divisions include 45 to 48 kilograms, 51 kilograms, 54 kilograms, 57 kilograms, 60 kilograms, 65 kilograms, 70 kilograms, 75 kilograms, 80 kilograms, and over 80 kilograms.
Each participating delegation is permitted to include a team manager, team doctor, physiotherapist, and up to eight coaches. The total housing capacity for the camp is limited to 150 participants.

The cost of participation is set at 90 United States dollars per person per night, covering accommodation, meals, and local transportation. Airport transfers to and from Chinggis Khaan International Airport will be provided for all teams.
National federations wishing to take part must submit their final registration forms no later than February 25, 2026. All registrations are to be sent directly to the Mongolian Boxing Federation via the designated contact person, Zolboo Narmandakh.

The training camp is expected to serve as a key final preparation phase for elite boxers ahead of the Asian Boxing Elite Boxing Championship, which will take place in Ulaanbaatar immediately afterward.
