Asian Boxing Honours Best Boxers and Technical Officials in Jakarta

The Asian Boxing U19 & U23 Boxing Championships Jakarta 2026 concluded by recognising the competition’s standout athletes and officials for their exceptional performances throughout the tournament.

Four boxers were presented with the prestigious Best Boxer awards after delivering outstanding performances on their way to gold medals.

In the U19 women’s division, Pujari of India earned the Best Boxer award following an impressive campaign in the 51kg weight class, demonstrating skill, composure and consistency throughout the championships.

Kazakhstan’s Issina was named Best Boxer in the U23 women’s competition after a dominant performance in the 70kg division, showcasing the quality that has made Kazakhstan one of Asia’s leading boxing nations.

Among the men, Elyor Rustamov claimed the Best Boxer award in the U19 category after excelling in the 55kg division with a series of outstanding performances.

Japan’s Koichi Nakayama received the Best Boxer award in the U23 men’s competition following his superb run to the 60kg title, highlighting his technical excellence and ring intelligence.

The championships also recognised the officials whose professionalism and dedication ensured the highest standards of competition.

Yusupov Bekjon of Uzbekistan was honoured as the Best Judge, acknowledging his consistency, accuracy and commitment to fair scoring throughout the tournament.

The Best Referee award went to Iskakov Ganl of Kazakhstan, whose confident officiating, excellent ring management and decisive performances earned recognition from the competition’s evaluation team.

The awards celebrate not only athletic excellence but also the vital contribution of technical officials, whose expertise helps uphold the integrity and quality of Olympic-style boxing at the highest level.
