Asian Boxing President Pichai Chunhavajira Announces Postponement of Asian Boxing League

Asian Boxing President Pichai Chunhavajira has released an official statement announcing the postponement of the Asian Boxing League, originally scheduled to take place in Jordan from 5 to 20 December 2026.

In his statement, President Pichai emphasized the importance of athlete safety and the responsibility of Asian Boxing to ensure a secure environment for all participants.

Asian Boxing hereby informs all affiliated National Federations that the Asian Boxing League, originally scheduled to take place in Jordan from 5 to 20 December 2026, has been postponed until further notice.

This decision has been taken following careful consideration of the ongoing political and regional situation in the Middle East, with particular emphasis on ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all participating athletes, coaches, officials, and delegations.

Asian Boxing firmly believes that the safety of our athletes must always remain our highest priority. Under the principle of “Athletes First, Integrity Always,” we are committed to ensuring that all Asian Boxing competitions are conducted in a safe, secure, and stable environment.

We emphasize that this postponement is a precautionary and responsible measure, taken in the best interests of the entire Asian Boxing family.

Asian Boxing will continue to closely assess regional developments in coordination with the relevant stakeholders and the host National Federation. A revised date for the Asian Boxing League will be communicated to all National Federations once the necessary conditions are in place to ensure the safe and successful organization of the event.
