Dominant Performances Mark Day 2 Evening Session of the Asian Boxing U15 & U17 Championships

The evening session on Day 2 of the Asian Boxing U15 & U17 Championships in Amman delivered a thrilling display of talent, determination, and regional pride. A total of 14 U17 men’s bouts took place in the 52kg, 54kg, and 57kg weight categories, with athletes from 14 countries stepping into the ring.

Host nation Jordan opened the session with a strong showing as Motaz Almashaleh secured a unanimous 5:0 victory in the 52kg division, sparking momentum that carried through a high-energy session.

Uzbekistan continued to assert its presence as a powerhouse, notching four victories—including two in the 52kg class by Asadbek Esonboev and Nurislam Syrgakov, with the latter winning by RSC in the third round.

India added three victories to its tally, including a first-round stoppage by Rahul Gariya in the 57kg division. Kyrgyzstan and Iran also delivered impressive performances with Zubair Akramov, Rizvan Isaev, and Ehsan Zolfi each earning clean 5:0 decisions.

Thailand, Vietnam, and Kazakhstan each celebrated key wins, while UAE’s Ali Almesmari and Palestine’s Omran Imtair fell short in closely contested matches.
