Asian nations continued their impressive campaign on Day 3 of the World Boxing Challenge in Ústí nad Labem, with standout victories and determined performances in the women’s divisions.
Japan’s Hiraku Shinohara (W48kg) advanced by walkover, while Yuna Nishinaka (W51kg) edged out Germany’s Maxi Klotzer in a tightly contested 3:2 split decision—her second win of the tournament. Both boxers are proving to be key figures in Japan’s rising female boxing program.
In one of the most dominant displays of the day, Mongolia’s Michidmaa Erdenedalai (W57kg) secured a unanimous 5:0 victory over Pakistan’s Laura Djida Akram, showcasing her tactical strength and ring control from start to finish.
