China to Host Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Gala in Urumqi

China is set to welcome athletes from across Asia for the 3rd Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Gala, taking place in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region from August 15 to 30, 2025.
The event, organized by the Chinese Boxing Federation in collaboration with the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Municipal Government, will feature a full program including an international training camp, competitions for elite, U19 and U17 boxers, as well as a forum and seminars for Referees, Judges and Coaches. Teams from Asia are all heading to Urumqi, India, Pakistan and many others look forward to the tournament.
The festival aims to support athletes’ preparations for major upcoming multi-sport events, including the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain and the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
The competitions will be staged at the Xinjiang International Boxing Training Centre in Urumqi, while bouts will also be held in Khorgos city, Yili Prefecture.
