Day Three Delivers Dominant Wins and Rising Contenders in Ulaanbaatar

Day three of the Asian Boxing Elite Boxing Championships continued at the ASA Arena in Ulaanbaatar, featuring 13 bouts across the women’s and men’s divisions, with a mix of dominant performances and competitive matchups.

The action opened in the women’s 65kg division, where Thailand’s Porntip Buapa secured a strong unanimous decision victory over Japan’s Mai Kito.

In the men’s 50kg category, India’s Vishvanath Suresh delivered a commanding performance to defeat Kyrgyzstan’s Bekzat Ergeshov. Jordan’s Huthaifa Eshish followed with a dominant win over Thailand’s Phanuwat Punnakorn, while Japan’s Daichi Iwai secured a clear victory against Uzbekistan’s Asylbek Jalilov. The Philippines’ John Wayne Vicera added another decisive result, defeating Bhutan’s Migma Dorji.

The men’s 60kg division saw a series of high-level performances. Japan’s top seed Shunsuke Kitamoto claimed a strong win over Tajikistan’s Akmal Ubaidov. Kazakhstan’s Orazbek Assylkulov delivered a dominant victory against the Philippines’ Paul Julyfer Bascon, while Uzbekistan’s Abdurakhmon Makhmudjonov defeated China’s Xinlin Chen with authority.

Jordan’s Mohammad Abu Jajeh continued the momentum with a clear win over Korea’s Donghwan Jang, and Thailand’s Sakda Ruamtham secured a convincing victory against Kyrgyzstan’s Amantur Dzhumaev.

Turkmenistan’s Dovlet Muhanov stood out with one of the most dominant performances of the session, defeating Indonesia’s Mars De Volta by unanimous decision. Chinese Taipei’s Cheng-Wei Lee also impressed, securing a strong win over Bhutan’s Dechen Dorji.

In the final bout of the session, India’s Sachin closed the day with a hard-fought split decision victory over Mongolia’s Buyandalai Bayarkhuu.

Day three continued to showcase the depth, skill, and competitiveness of boxing across Asia, as the championships build momentum in Ulaanbaatar.
