Dominant Performances in Women’s Divisions Lead Day 7 Action in Ulaanbaatar

Day 7 of the Asian Boxing Elite Boxing Championships saw a strong lineup of bouts at the ASA Arena, with commanding performances across the women’s 48kg and 57kg divisions, alongside competitive matchups in the men’s 85kg category.

In the women’s 48kg division, India’s Minakshi delivered a standout performance, securing a unanimous decision victory over Japan’s Yuka Sadamatsu. Thailand’s Thipsatcha Yodwaree followed with a dominant win, while Mongolia’s Nomundari Enkh-Amgalan impressed on home soil with a strong 4:1 decision over Vietnam’s Thi Quynh Anh Pham.

Kazakhstan’s Aigerim Sattibayeva edged a closely contested split decision against Uzbekistan’s Sabina Bobokulova in one of the tightest bouts of the session.

The women’s 57kg division continued the momentum with a series of dominant victories. India’s Jaismine secured a clean unanimous decision over China’s Ziyi Chen, while Uzbekistan’s Nigina Uktamova delivered one of the most commanding performances of the day, sweeping all scorecards against Chinese Taipei’s Ching-Yu Yao.

Tajikistan’s Mijgona Samadova advanced with a strong unanimous win over Mongolia’s Nomin-Erdene Tugsjargal, and Thailand’s Punrawee Ruenros closed the division’s bouts with a dominant performance against Kazakhstan’s Ulzhan Sarsenbek.

In the men’s 85kg division, Mongolia’s Bariakhaan Dorj secured a hard-fought split decision victory over Jordan’s Mohammad Suleiman in a closely contested bout. India’s Lokesh delivered a commanding unanimous win over Korea’s Gichae Kim, while Uzbekistan’s Jasurbek Yuldoshev advanced with a dominant performance against Kyrgyzstan’s Mukhammadaziz Zakirov.
