Power Performances and Heavyweight Clashes Close Day 6 in Ulaanbaatar

The evening session of Day 6 at the Asian Boxing Elite Boxing Championships brought a strong finish at the ASA Arena, with decisive wins, referee stoppages, and key heavyweight clashes across the women’s 70kg and 75kg divisions, alongside the men’s 60kg and 90+kg categories.

In the women’s 70kg division, China’s Alimire Abudureyimu edged a closely contested split decision over Korea’s Sujin Seon in a tight opening bout.

The women’s 75kg division saw a series of dominant performances. Uzbekistan’s Aziza Zokirova secured a third-round stoppage victory over Japan’s Naoko Kasahara, while China’s Ziyi Bao followed with another commanding RSC win against Chinese Taipei’s Yu-Ting Jhuo. Kazakhstan’s Valentina Khalzova delivered a standout performance, stopping Korea’s Suyeon Seong in the second round.

In the men’s 60kg division, Kazakhstan’s Orazbek Assylkulov advanced via walkover, while Uzbekistan’s Abdurakhmon Makhmudjonov and Thailand’s Sakda Ruamtham both secured strong unanimous decision victories. India’s Sachin added to the momentum with a dominant win over Chinese Taipei’s Cheng-Wei Lee.

The heavyweight 90+kg division provided a powerful close to the session. Kazakhstan’s Aibek Oralbay claimed a hard-fought victory over Uzbekistan’s Arman Makhanov, while Turkmenistan’s Dovlet Yslamov and India’s Narender both delivered commanding unanimous wins.

China’s Bayikewuzi Danabieke closed the session with a strong performance, securing a unanimous victory over Tajikistan’s Muhammad Abroridinov.

As Day 6 concluded, the level of competition continued to rise, with fighters delivering decisive statements as the championships move closer to the final stages.
