Official Draw Complete as Asian Boxing U19 & U23 Boxing Championships Jakarta 2026 Set to Begin

The Asian Boxing U19 & U23 Boxing Championships Jakarta 2026 moved one step closer to competition today as team officials from across Asia gathered for the official Technical Meeting and Draw ahead of the opening of the championships.

The Technical Meeting provided participating National Federations with final competition information, while the Official Draw confirmed the bout schedule for the opening days of competition.

A total of 329 boxers from 20 National Federations will compete at the championships, including 189 men and 140 women, highlighting the continued growth of Olympic-style boxing across the continent.

Competition officially begins tomorrow with the Opening Ceremony at 2:00 p.m., followed by the first seven U19 Women’s bouts at 3:30 p.m.

Over the coming days, Asia’s most promising young boxers will compete for continental titles and valuable international experience as they continue their journey toward the highest levels of the sport.

The championships will run in Jakarta until 16 July, bringing together the next generation of Asian boxing talent in one of the continent’s premier youth competitions.
