India’s Gunjan advanced with a split decision victory over Mongolia’s Altanzul Altangadas, while Kazakhstan’s Madira Zhumakan secured the session’s first stoppage, defeating Vietnam’s Thi Hong Yen Nguyen by third-round Referee Stops Contest. The women’s 51kg quarterfinals saw several dominant performances. India’s Chandrika Bhoreshi Pujari advanced with a unanimous decision over Kazakhstan’s Zhadyra Kaltay, while Japan’s Riko Matsushita and Uzbekistan’s Nazokat Mardonova each recorded convincing unanimous decision victories. Thailand’s Kanyaphat Baonok completed the semifinal lineup after overcoming the Philippines’ Ermalie Caballero in a closely fought contest.

Competition concluded with the women’s 54kg division, where India’s Joyshree Devi Chirom, Japan’s Runa Ito, Uzbekistan’s Sabrina Chakomanova and Tajikistan’s Farinaz Abdulloeva all booked their places in the semifinals. Ito produced the standout performance of the division, earning a second-round Referee Stops Contest victory over Mongolia’s Khaliun Gantulga.
