A thrilling evening of boxing unfolded at the Martyr Rashid Al-Zyoud Hall in Amman as the Day 4 Evening Session of the Asian Boxing U15 & U17 Championships delivered 13 intense bouts across the U15 boys girls’ categories.
In the U15 boys’ 43kg division, Bahrain’s Jayden Price impressed with a commanding 5:0 win over Kazakhstan’s Aslan Kairanbay, while Ukraine’s Marat Velbovets secured a clean sweep against Jordan’s Adam Aladarbi.
Ukraine continued its strong showing in the 46kg category as Yevhenii Kovach defeated Kazakhstan’s Zhiger Zhumen (5:0). He was joined by Iran’s Aref Zivdar, who earned a 4:1 win over the Philippines’ Matthew Ayumana, and India’s Rudraksh Singh Khaidem, who claimed a 3:0 victory over Kyrgyzstan’s Aidar Musaev. Uzbekistan’s Oybek Alimdjonov also advanced, winning 5:0 against Jordan’s Sultan Shannagq.
In the 49kg division, Kazakhstan’s Shynggys Akhmetov eliminated Jordan’s local hopeful Husein Skhafee in a 5:0 decision. Ukraine’s Taras Bondaruk, Iran’s Morteza Rahimi, and India’s Sanchit Jayani each delivered dominant wins in their respective bouts, defeating opponents from Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Chinese Taipei.
The U15 girls’ 43kg category saw Milky Meinam of India defeat Kazakhstan’s Yeldana Abdigani (5:0), while Raykhona Alimkhanova of Uzbekistan edged a narrow 3:2 win over Chinese Taipei’s Xiao-Ting Shao. Vietnam’s Luu Thi Ngoc Ha capped the session with a convincing 5:0 victory against Faiza Teshebaeva of Kyrgyzstan.
