Quarter-Finals Continue with Strong Performances on Day 4 Afternoon at Asian Boxing U15 & U17 Championships

The intensity rose at the Asian Boxing U15 & U17 Boxing Championships as the quarter-final bouts of Day 4 afternoon session saw a fierce display of skill, strategy, and determination across 11 matches at the Sports Palace in Amman.
In the U15 Boys 35kg category, Sanskar Vinod Atram of India overcame Jordan’s Mahmoud Almatbouli with a 4:1 points decision, while Sarmat Shokarimov from Uzbekistan dominated Kazakhstan’s Daulet Tenelbay in a clean 5:0 victory.
Kazakhstan’s Birzhan Zhakyp put on a clinical performance against Jordan’s Ali Salem in the U15 Boys 37kg, securing a 5:0 win. In the same weight class, Tashkul Amangeldiev (Kyrgyzstan) also won 5:0 over Chinese Taipei’s Pan Bo-Rui, while India’s Harsil Harsil earned a unanimous victory against Muhammetaly Serdarov of Turkmenistan.
One of the most dominant wins of the day came from Uzbekistan’s Mukhriddin Khamidjonov, who forced a stoppage in Round 2 (RSC at 1:28) against Richard Payla Jr. of the Philippines.
The U15 Boys 40kg quarter-finals featured strong performances from Kuanysh Khalimbet (Kazakhstan), Prikshit Balahra (India), and Ivan Vereshchaka (Ukraine), who defeated Iran’s Payam Mohammadi, Mongolia’s Akhmyetkhan Nursalyem, and Jordan’s Adam Maqbul, respectively.
In the final boys’ bout of the afternoon, Atabek Hojyyev of Turkmenistan earned a decisive win over Uzbekistan’s Kamronbek Komilov.
Closing the session in the U15 Girls 37kg category, Sabinakhon Kamizdjonova (Uzbekistan) advanced to the next round with a walkover win against Pei-Yun Chiang from Chinese Taipei.
