India’s leading elite boxers delivered outstanding performances at the 9th Elite Men’s and Women’s National Boxing Championships 2026, with all weight category finals concluded on Saturday, 10 January 2026, following ten days of high level competition.
The championships brought together the country’s top senior boxers, representing services teams and state units, competing across all Olympic weight categories. The event showcased depth, consistency, and elite level preparation across both the men’s and women’s competitions.
Women’s Championship Highlights
In the women’s competition, several established internationals reaffirmed their dominance. Nikhat Zareen claimed gold in the flyweight division, while Lovlina Borgohain secured the middleweight title with a commanding performance.
