Registration Opens for the Asian Boxing U15 and U17 Boxing Championships – Tashkent 2026

Registration is now officially open for the Asian Boxing U15 and U17 Boxing Championships – Tashkent 2026, which will take place from May 01 to May 16, 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The championship will bring together the next generation of boxing talent from across the continent as young athletes compete for continental honors and valuable international experience.

Organized under the leadership of Asian Boxing, the new continental Confederation in Asia, the event will feature competition in both U15 and U17 age categories for boys and girls, continuing the Confederation’s commitment to developing boxing at the grassroots and youth levels.

The U15 category is open to athletes born in 2012 and 2013, while the U17 category will include boxers born in 2010 and 2011.
Athletes will compete across a full range of weight categories.
For the U15 division (boys and girls), the weight categories are:
30 to 33kg, 35kg, 37kg, 40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49kg, 52kg, 55kg, 58kg, 61kg, 64kg, 67kg, 70kg, and over 70kg.
For the U17 division (boys and girls), the weight categories are:
44 to 46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, and over 80kg.

National Federations from across Asia are invited to register their athletes for the championships before the registration deadline of April 01, 2026.

The championships are expected to attract young boxers from across the region and will provide an important opportunity for emerging athletes to gain international competition experience and showcase the future of boxing in Asia. Tashkent has become a key destination for major boxing events and the upcoming championships will continue Uzbekistan’s strong tradition of hosting high-level international competitions.
