Several bouts ended before the final bell, particularly in the light flyweight, bantamweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight categories, highlighting the pace and physical intensity that defined the semifinal stage.
The championships also saw strong performances from athletes representing Turkmenistan, India, Iran, Jordan, Tajikistan, Bahrain, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia, reflecting the depth of talent across the continent at the U17 level.
A number of contests went the distance in closely contested matchups, with split decisions and narrow scorecards underlining the competitiveness of the semifinal stage as the pressure of the medal rounds intensified.
With the semifinals now complete, the U17 boys finals are officially set, as the next generation of Olympic-style boxers prepare to compete for continental titles at the Asian Boxing U15 and U17 Boxing Championships in Tashkent.
